Thirteen husky safaris from eight Rovaniemi operators side by side: distance, total time, who drives and prices from each operator's own site, October 2026.
The quickest ride is at Santa Claus Village: Bearhill Husky's 2.5 km ride takes a 30-minute slot and costs €63 (child €52), with a musher driving. To drive your own team, Baba Husky's 5 km safari costs €172.14 and Safartica's 5 km Wild Run €189 with the transfer. For a longer run, Bearhill's Call of the Wild covers about 12 to 18 km in 3 hours for €249, from age 12.
Bearhill Husky, Santa's Husky Rides: 2.5 km in a 30-minute slot, €63 (child €52). The musher drives; no transfer.
Bearhill Husky, Running with the Pack: 5 km with a kennel visit, 2 h 15 min, €164 (child €99), €169 from 30 November to 10 January. Transfer included.

Bearhill Husky, Call of the Wild: about 12 to 18 km, 3 hours, €249 (teens 12 to 16 €207). Not for children under 12.
Korvala, 60 km north of Rovaniemi: 12 km for €160 (child €80), clothing included, no transfer. Korvala is not on the Green Activities list; the welfare table below shows what its website says about the dogs.
Two husky parks sit at Santa Claus Village. Besides Bearhill's rides there is Arctic Circle Husky Park, 8 km from the city centre, whose 2 km guide-driven ride with a park visit costs €65 (child €45).
Prices change with the date. Bearhill charges more from 30 November to 10 January and Apukka in December, and Safartica's 10 km Winter Path runs from 7 January. Baba Husky's prices come from its booking system and include the booking fee.
Pure Lapland's self-drive safari, sold by Arctic Circle Husky Park, starts 20 km from Rovaniemi, and its transfer costs €50 extra per booking.
Sled safaris need snow. The season runs from about November to April, and the first weeks depend on how early the snow comes; check what the operator does if there is too little.
